WELCOME TO THE UTAH DEFENSE LAWYERS ASSOCIATION: The Utah Defense Lawyers Association has implemented a program to honor attorneys who have distinguished themselves through years of service. There are two awards given annually.
The “Legacy Award” will be given to those meeting the following criteria: (1) the devotion of at least 75% of their practice to the defense of insurance companies or their insureds; (2) for at least 15 years; and (3) excellent and distinguished service in this area.
The “Horizon Award” will be based upon the same criteria but for those young attorneys who have practiced less than 15 years.
