This brand new program is geared toward our younger lawyers, but will also serve attorneys of all experience levels as a great refresher course.
This all-day seminar will cover many facets involved in taking depositions and provide participants with practical application, hands-on training, and same-day critiques and feedback of their work. Presentations will discuss techniques, strategies, and philosophies for lawyers preparing and taking plaintiff depositions, and practical tips for extracting the desired testimony of expert witnesses. You will learn how to structure the examination, gain valuable admissions, garner useful testimony, gauge when to press for an answer and when to stop, and other practical know-hows that will produce a successful deposition transcript.
